Job Description

Position Title: Engineer – Assy
Reporting to:        Manager – Production
Location:               Chennai Plant
Age limit 25-30 Years
Experience 3-4 Years
Scope and Responsibilities: ·         Knowledge on assembling process, assembly tools, fixtures, marking equipment, scanner, Online data entry

·         Knowledge online balancing

·         fulfillment of production according to plan

·         Coordinate and motivate team for continual improvement in cycle time in assembly process

·         Plan resources (material, manning, tooling) and coordinate with supplier departments

·         Maintain 5S

·         Knowledge of IATF – 16949, OHSAS, KAIZAN, EMS
Must have ·        B.E or Diploma in Mechanical

·        Good scores (average 60%) throughout the career

·        Navision ERP system knowledge
Personal Attributes and skills ·        Excellent oral and written communication skills

·        Excellent interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues, develop market or influence others inside and outside the organisation to take specific actions

·        Sound analytical skills

·        Willingness to travel extensively

·        Excellent command over MS Excel and Power point

·        Presentation skills
